Strength:

Beveld Edges Good Flex Good Price Forgiveing Responsive And high walls for good Carving

Weakness:

None i know of yet a good board it is.

The seven has to be the best all around board you can get with its flaxable base and the bevled edges it makes for the perfect ride weather in the park or on the slopes of the mountains. The price i paid for it was new but it is not the price actually since the real price can be closer to double and a bit. It has high walls and the botton has a nice finish top it. The next years model is still new but it has changed little other then the new base gfraphic and maybe some edge technology. If your buying a board make the right chouce and get the board of choice that many people will say is the best board around. Shure there are probly better boards from burton or option but i believe this is the best board for your money about 600-700 dollars (canadian) Should get you a nice burton seven however getting other models slitly up in the burton like with little change may cost you more money upwards to the price of about 800-1200 maybe more depending then there is always the rest of your stuff so dont forget.

wow! this board is awesome. It's so forgiving on landings, and the flex is awesome. I got it for a really good price, also. No matter what your riding level is, this board is something that you should look into!

Strength:

Rails... wow this thing was built to ride rails, it has a 3 degree base bevel so you dont screw your edges up on rails. It is also fairly light and easy to throw around.. even the 162 which is what I am on. This board is also pretty soft which is a good trend right now in snowboarding, Stiff boards suck for freestyle, but a lot of snowboard companies fail to recognize. This board also holds up really well to rocks, rails etc. And if it doesnt then Burton will warranty it... no questions asked(most of the time).

Weakness:

3d hole patern... its bullsh*t, you need compatible bindings or burton bindings. Also this board isnt the greatest in powder. Just because of its narrow waist and harsh sidecut. Also if you get your board tuned make sure you get a 3 degree bevel or your totally not getting everything you can out of the 7

This is probably the best board i have ever ridden, and I get to ride A LOT of snowboards being really good friends with a lot of reps and doing some demo days. So i can honestly say that this board is very good...

Strength:

FUN board to ride. Nice flex and pop. Not too flexy, but not as stiff as a Custom. Cool minimal graphics (matte black/gray color).

Weakness:

None really. Debating wether or not I should have bought a Dominant instead?!

The 2002 Seven is a great board - good flex and pop. It is also very forgiving on landings. It doesn''t hold an edge as strong as a Custom on hard carves, but then again, this board wasn''t made for pure freeriding, either. In the park, though, this board is pure fun! You feel like you can land anything because of the forgiving flex of the board. It''s also a lot of fun when just cruising down a run and hitting little bumps, rollers, etc. I''m keeping my Custom for freeriding, but I love my Seven for the park and just fun cruising around.

looks cool, holds edges well, fits in my car

Weakness:

a little heavy, and ohio snow sucks ass (not really burton''s fault, but who else can you blame?)

excellent deck, a little stiff, fun to ride, a little unforgiving on landing big kickers and on the superpipe

Strength:

sick looking, great flex, nice base too, pretty stong carving ability and nice for spinning

Weakness:

made by burton, 3 hole patter limits stance options, not too light, the topsheet seems kinda fragile.

sick board nice flex, great for presses and forgiving off jumps. great all around park board. go get one!

I''m pretty new to Snowboarding so I won''t kid ya... But I can at least let ya know how this board is for me. I have tried a few boards before and I''d say this one out-performs all. It took me a couple runs too get used to how much stiffer it is. By the end of the night I was blowing past a lot of the more experienced riders there pretty easily...and that was my 3rd day on a board. This is NOT a good board to just start out on...but I''d say if you can carve on both sides already...you''re experienced enough to take it. It had a lot of pop compared to the other boards I have been on (friends and rental) It is unbearably easy to get in the air. Landings are forgiving.

Customer Service

Never had to use it.
