Montane built the Women's Solo Fleece Jacket for cold summit hikes and long backcountry trips. The polyester soft-shell material is water-resistant and lined with high-loft fleece. This makes it more weather resistant on the outside but more comfortable next to your skin on the inside. The zippered hand-warmer pockets are positioned clear of where a waist belt or climbing harness would sit, allowing easy access when you've got your pack on or are repelling down a cliff section.
