Reviewed by: Anonymous User ,  50+ days a year , from BEDFORD, va

Price Paid:  $10.00 at Orvis Shop

Summary:
A good box at a good price. Buy it.

Strengths:
Very light weight, what more do you need? It holds small flies especially well. As with all fly boxes, make sure your flies are dry before you put them away!

Weaknesses:
After about a year of use, the green cover peeled off, now the box is black.

Customer Service:
??????????? For what?

Price Paid:  $10.00 at various retailers

Favorite State:
west central Minnesota

Summary:
Great box! I have three mediums, a small, and a large saltwater. I got the saltwater for Bass bugs. I don't use it because it doesn't fit in a vest pocket. I really enjoy how light and soft these boxes feel in my vest. I've tried several boxes and just haven't liked them for various reasons. I'm having to keep my Bass bugs in a hard box because Morell doesn't make the "right" box for bugs. Keeping my fingers crossed for a box in the medium size with more interior room.

Strengths:
Lightweight, it floats, easy to open but stays closed quite well, nothing to break or fail, inexpensive.

Weaknesses:
Can be crushed, not enough interior room for Bass bugs and large flies.

Price Paid:  $8.00 at various fly shops

Summary:
The Best!!!!!!!!!

Strengths:
I have 5 of these boxs- my favorite-giving away my old ones (orvis plastic) without the flies. They are the lightest - can put in the chest pocket of an ex-offico shirt and not know its there. Can be crushed, and pops back to position. Will never break if u fall on it- sit on it, etc. Floats- and believe me-that can be a plus- lost a plastic fly box full of flies in a deep stream-current took it down and could not see it. Foam holds the flies well- particularly good for small flies. Magnets hold well to close it-but very easily opened on a stream with a tippet in one hand, rod under the arm.

Weaknesses:
None- i have a wheatly with windows- -its prettier- more classic-but not nearly as good or practical.

Customer Service:
didn't know they have one-would never need it

Price Paid:  $8.00 at Several places

Summary:
Excellent product in terms of durability and ease of use. Interior design could be better (see above).

Strengths:
Lightweight, not expensive. These are my favorite boxes. They also float. Good construction.

Weaknesses:
The manufacturer should have given some more thought about how these boxes are designed in terms of the fly placement inside the box. The large box will not hold as many flies as you would expect for the size.

I make modifications. I take a router and remove the foam ripple inside the large box and cut some ripple material with narrower rows to fit inside. This gives me a box that will hold a LOT of flies.
