Reviewed by: Anonymous User ,  50+ days a year , from Seattle

Summary:
This is a followup to my previous post. After contacting Redington regarding the problems I had with their rod, I was told to just send it in for replacement. They promptly sent me back one of their new rods, and I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of this rod compared to the one it replaced; the new rods are much, much lighter, the hardware is beautiful (rosewood and pewter reel seat), the line guides are now singlefoot, and they have added a winding check. Redington is fast becoming a major player in the flyfishing market, and based on their new products and unwavering commitment to customer service, it is clear that they are here to stay.

Customer Service:
Unbeleivably accomodating. I would not hesitate to buy another Redington product based solely upon the way they stand behind their products.

Summary:
I have owned 4 other Reddington rods, 2 other 6wts. This one (a warrantee replacement) is not as fast as the first 2 I owned. It still casts well, but not AS well as the older models. I have caught everything from bluegill to 20lb carp on it, and it performs as advertised.

Customer Service:
Exceptional.
