Summary:
Umpqua has been let down by this product and should probably fix its UV stabelisation techniques. I guess a good a place as any is here in Australia ( Bring it on Umpqua). This tippet really lets the team down especialy against the new deciever range which is fantastic.

Price Paid:  $4.00 at altrec.com

Body of Water:
Shenandoah Brooks

Summary:
Cheap, reasonable quality tippet, there are much better around(if your willing to pay)

Strengths:
Reasonably priced, nice usable dispenser(I like the Umpqua tippet dispensers because they lock together-nice if you carry a range of sizes)

Weaknesses:
Stiff, not very piable. I bought this after I'd tried the Umpqua Deceiver. No comparison, once you go to the good stuff, you'll never go back. Though it's expensive, the Deceiver is much easier to tye knots with, tangles less in the brush, tangles less in my pocket, and as billed, is nearly invisible to those little trout(not that brookies are particular in some streams). For the price, the Umpqua tippet produces well though.

Customer Service:
I haven't used Umpqua's custoner service yet. Altrec's was poor. I ordered 7x, they sent 4x. In order to get the 7x I wanted I'd have to return the 4x (they would pay for shipping, but I'd still have to go by the post office, I bailed - its cheaper for me to go by it in person- should have known to stick with a local shop).

Umpqua Deceiver(much nicer)
