Body of Water:
Gulf bay waters

Favorite State:

Favorite Country:
USA

Summary:
Great quality. Do I need this much bag? Would Abel's Trout bag be just as useful but more compact.

Also, if it gets in standing water on the boat, forget it.

Strengths:
Design, quality.

Weaknesses:
1. May have more pockets than you need. Has so many pockets you forget where you put things.
2. Not waterproof if it's sitting on the floor of the boat and you have an inch or two of water sloshing around.

Customer Service:
Good.

Summary:
The Abel Holds Everything is the best bag out there!!! I've wasted time, energy and money on lesser expensive bags. Never again. I probably will never have to buy another bag.

Strengths:
Abel...again...what more needs be said.

Weaknesses:
What weaknesses? You get what you pay for. This bag is in a league all by itself.

Customer Service:
Have never needed Abel's customer service except to ask a question. Even then they were very friendly and helpful. They even respond to their e-mail. Damn..what a great idea! That's more than I can say for R.L. Winston. I hope I never need Winston's customer service. You'd think for the prices they ask they would at least respond to their own online inquiries and e-mails. Hope this is not a sign!

I bought one of the very first abel bags back in the early nineties. I can tell you that this bag has been all over the world from Artic to antartic-Chilie to Tasmania and everywhere in between, and has stood up to everything the airlines, guides and baggage handlers threw at it. It now resides as a great camera bag.

Strengths:
bullet proof,and well designed

Weaknesses:
there arent any.Battleship grey was the original colour, and I like the newer colour ways.

Price Paid:  $160.00 at FlyFishing Specialties

Body of Water:
Sea of Cortez

Summary:
This is the best carry on bag or day tripper that you can get. The pockets are designed brilliantly, and its built to last. Organizes much more than you would think from such a small bag.

Strengths:
This bag is the BEST! The name is holds everything, and thats exactly what it does. You can fit much more gear in this small bag than you can in any backpack due to the great design of the pockets and storage compartments. Built of heavy duty material, strong shoulder strap, d- rings, and plastic stops at the bottom, it holds up to everything. Perfect as a carry on with all your reels, camera, passport, tickets, etc etc.

Weaknesses:
Expensive, but once you realize how useful this bag is, its worth it!
