Summary: Best reel I have ever owned! Outstanding performance, pretty costly, but well worth the money!
Strengths: Nice machining and porting style, unique gold anodized colour, attractive, large cork disc drag is strong, smooth, and 20% larger than other comparable reels, outstanding reel!
Weaknesses: None!
Similar Products Used: Reels that are very comparable (The most popular ones out there) don't match the Fish-Nor FR.

Body of Water: Cape Cod
Favorite State: ma
Summary: Overall a good reel. Not quite what the older Fin Nors were but what is today. Bearings on the FR (and CR) models need to be kept VERY clean or grit/dirt and rust collects.
Strengths: Good machining, huge cork drag
Weaknesses: Open Thrust and ball bearing design on drag prone to dirt. Stainless used is "soft" and does develop rust.

Body of Water: Irish Salmon Rivers & some light saltwater
Summary: An excellent 'Rolls Royce' go anywhere/do anything product. Should last a lifetime.
Strengths: Impeccable machining, huge drag & drag range, big capacity, light, great looking, fantastic anodisation. Have seen worse reels that cost 20%+ more.
