30 days a year Body of Water: Bemm River -- Favorite City: Favorite State: Summary: A very good drag and is very fishable but I am glad I didn"t buy this reel at original retail price of $200.
Strengths: This reel has been machined from barstock aluminium and anodized for corrosion resistance. It has silky smooth drag with an easily accessible drag lever when playing out a fish. The drag settings are also well defined - going from no drag to full drag in just half a turn of the lever. Weaknesses: The major weakness of this reel is the built quality. The fit of spool to frame is not as tight as it could be. This to date has not caused any complications while fishing however. Additionally, the backing capacity of this reel is not adequate for a majority of 8wt species. The reel was advertised as being able to handle 200 yds of 20# micron backing with a WF8F line. I can only manage 100 yards of backing with this line on the reel. There are no line specs on the box. Customer Service: Unrequired to date. Similar Products Used: STH Sacconi Turbine POP 2 reel
