Bought them for 2 main reasons: Got tired of lugging around my 15oz binoculars and the price was real good. Very lightweight,(can forget that they're even around my neck) and the clarity is actually pretty good. I take them backpacking with me all the time and never get tired of using them. I'm not sure if I'd have paid full retail for them, but for $59.00, they can't be beat. Ed. Customer Service:
