Summary:
all arc teryx gear is bomber and w/out exception is this pack. although its a little heavy for day trip to the red rocks it fits everything and the kitchen sink. the only other thing is the side zipper i wish it had the zipper located in the back like all the other models.

Summary:
A very comfortable pack. This pack is great for a short trip. It holds much more than you think it will. Once it is all loaded if you have the pack fit properly it feels very light with a full load. This is a great pack for a short trip.

Reviewed by: Carol Lane ,  Day Hiker , from Portland, OR, USA

Summary:
I borrowed this pack from a friend for a 2 day Mt. Hood trek. I'm new to hiking and backpacking so I don't have much to compare it with. It definitely fit comfortably and seemed to have an easy balance. It didn't hold as much as I had hoped, but had enough outside clip areas for extras for the brief trip I was on.

I have also tried a Dana Alpine which was huge! Plenty 'o' room. The frame hurt-dug into my hips, but in all fairness to Dana, I think that was because I needed a smaller size and custom fitting.
