at Company store Summary: Awesome pack!!! I couldn't be happier, especially for ninety buks. Great for super big loads and such. I've used for trips to Philmont scout ranch as well as numerous weekend and three to five day hikes. The bladder pocket is great and the straps sit just right. It took me a while to get is set up perfectly but now I wouldn't change a thing. It's a little big for weekends but thats Ok, leaves plenty of room for over packing and thereby more training. Had a mouse chew a hole in it and the ripstop is doing it's job. The whole stayed the samt size for the rest of the nine days I was hiking, and I got it repaired when I got back.Great bag, I would reccommend it to anybody. I don't know what kind of trip the first two guys were on. Customer Service: No experience

, from Raleigh, NC, USA Summary: A great value in an internal frame pack. I've used this pack for over two years from weekend trips in the NC mountains to a weeklong backcountry trek in Yellowstone and it has proved comfortable, durable, and functional. Yeah, there may be some slippage in the shoulder straps, but not to the point it would fall off my back or throw me off balance (I have had many opportunities to test that). The construction is of good quality ripstop and I have had no tears, rips, or blowouts; in fact, it still looks like new. I love the water bladder pocket and it's overall capacity. I have an earlier pack that doesn't have the removable day pack like the current model does (I wish it did). I can't justify the price premium of a Gregory/Arc'Teryx/Osprey over the minor quibbles this pack presents. Besides, it's SO much more comfortable than any other pack I've used - when you're used to a Yugo, a Ford seems like Shangri-La :o). I 've never had any hot spots, blisters, or otherwise from using this pack. However, it's a little large for 2-3 day trips unless you're a pack mule. Customer Service: No experience, but it does have a lifetime warranty (who doesn't nowadays). Similar Products Used: Camp Trails Omega Internal (discontinued). 1960's Boy Scout external frame (probably Kelty).

, from Everett, Wa, USA Summary: I have wore this pack on a few hikes and found it to be very comfortable. I think that the straps are very well fitting and they distribute the load evenly over my back and shoulders. I would recommend this pack to anyone. I also like the internal bladder pocket, which is very well placed.

, from sanfransisco Summary: the kid who submitted the first review must have been on heavy medication. The Intrepid is a great pack. I bought the Intrepid a year ago and I love it. I don't have enough gear to fill the many pockets and enormous main compartment. It comes with a convenient built-in hydration bladder. Also, you could easily hike with over 40 lbs of gear with out straining yourself. That kid must own shares in Kelty or something because the Intrepid is an all-around good pack.

, from Richmond, B.C. Canada Summary: What a mistake buying this pack!! I got suckered into purchasing this piece of @!#$ by a smooth salesman er, should I say saleswoman. First, the shoulder harness constantly kept getting loose while on a non-technical trail, then the hip belt kept sliding down my waist. I know what you're thinking- I was fitted improperly. I measured my torso length at home and at the store (21 inch) so it came out that I needed a large size.
To make a long and miserable story short I tried to return it, but the store went out of business!! Also tried contacting Eureka manufacture, but they were useless! Avoid this pack at all cost, spend your money on a Jansport, Kelty, or invest in a bombproof pack like Arc'teryx. Customer Service: Not very good. Similar Products Used: Arc'teryx Bora 90 (awesome, please read my review) Deuter air contact 55-10: good pack for weekend getaway.
