Backpacker
, from Portland, Oregon, USA Summary: I have had nothing but good luck with this pack. It is extremely comfortable, it is easey to get at any of my stuff from the various zippered openings, and you can't beat the hydro system/camel back option. It also can be altered to different sizes prety easily. I have also been able to strap gear on the outside without any difficulty. One little tab off a zipper has come off, and it is the type that cannot be easily fixed, but other than that it has proven quite duarable. I highly recommend it. It would be good for the weekend backpacker, to the mountain climber/peak seeker. Customer Service: Haven't had to yet! Similar Products Used: I have used the Big Kahuna Pack (the design name that turned into it's nickname is the only thing i can think of right now). It definately did the job during 2 months of backpacking, but some straps broke and it gave me blisters on my collar bones (ick!). It did the job, but I wish I had had the LoweAlpine pack during that trip.

Backpacker
, from LaVerkin, UT, USA Summary: I have only used the pack once on a backpack trip this summer in the Wind River Range. The pack took a little getting used to with Lowe's adjustment system, but once it was dailed in, it performed quite well. Overall, the pack is a great deal for it's price. Extremely durable pack. , from Nashua, NH Summary: Bomb proof, as always Lowe is more in the minimalist group in that they don't have all the bells and whistles but if you want to pack and go and are'nt part of the me too crowd you can't beat the value versus performance. Stable, light and easy to adjust. Customer Service: Similar Products Used: None

Backpacker
, from Missoula, MT, USA Summary: It's a tough bag. I have had mine for five years and have never had any problems. My only issue is that the shoulder straps can get to be uncomfortable after many miles with a lot of weight. However, some improvements to this pack have probably been made since I purchased mine. Bottom line thought ... it is a reliable bag. Customer Service: Similar Products Used: None
