Price Paid:  $70.00 at Walmart

Summary:
Good bag for the $$. The only complaint is that the feet are not kept warm in this bag and it is big and bulky. I have had it down to 20 degrees in a bivy.

Price Paid:  $80.00 at WalMart

Summary:
I bought the kokanee to replace my 20-some year old peak 1 holofil bag. It's not a terrific backpacking bag due to weight, but hauling it on my bike it doesn't much matter (weight). No way I'd expect it to compare to a good down bag weight-wise..certainly not for the price!!

The tailored hood is a nice fit. I was concerned that the foot pocket would get in the way...it doesn't.

Qualofil has a decent 'drop' to it. The tri-blend of the old peak 1 liner was better than the nylon of the newer.

Cut is generous enough to allow bringing your knees up. Obviously this would be less likely the taller you are.

Altogether a decent bag for the $$. Nice to see a strap on the bottom of the stuff sack.

Zipper quality could be better. Not the smoothest in the world.

Price Paid:  $59.00 at Fleet Farm

Summary:
Got this on a whim to camp in the snow in Northern Minnesota. Not bad if you plan to car camp or maybe a weekend. VERY heavy compared to down though. Saw it on clearence for $29 a couple months after I got it. Had it down to 5 or 10 and was warm in it. Didn't fit well in my 4600 CI pack, but worked in my 5400 Redcloud.
