Price Paid:  $39.00 at Big Five

Summary:
These bags are well above average in terms of both function and quality given their price range and selected use. While best for three season car camping, we used these bags primarily to introduce our children to backpacking. Used to far better down bags, we were impressed that these bags, while heavy at nearly five pounds, were compressable enough to be used in our internal frame packs. Comfortable during stormy weather in the Trinity Alps, they worked admirably. A great general use, beginners bag.

Similar Products Used:
None similar, previous bags were made by Western Mountaineering, Down Home, and Moonstone. For its intended use this bag stands proudly next to the much better bags mentioned above. At five pounds, the bag is best suited to three season car camping.
