Summary:
This is the creme-de-la-creme of cool ski packs. it has everything you need for a fine day in the bc: kit pouch, probe pouch, excellent shovel holder, unbeatable ski attachments, side-zip, etc., etc. if youre looking for all this cool stuff, buy this pack!! however, ive found this pack to be a bit overkill for oneday bc adventures--sure all those knick-knacks are neat, but sometimes unnecesary. for my style, the pack is too big for oneday skiing, and a tad too big for cragging. oh yeah, this pack is definately overkill for cragging--too much stuff. if i were to do it again (which im gonna have to--i just had my Borea stolen while i was climbing) i would not get this pack. im getting the Stone pack from BD, and am not sure what ski pack to get. the other con is the weight and price--the weight comes from all the features, and the price, well, its a great pack, and its made to last a lifetime, so suck it up and fork over the cash.

the bottom line: if looking for a pack with great features, buy this pack immediately; if looking for a streamlined, lightweight pack, get something else. hope this helps!

Summary:
no doubt the best pack/ski pack on the market. holds everything you need in the backcountry. the best part is you can cut it down and loose weight to go alpine light. i have taken it ice climbing and backcountry skiing and have not found anything better.

Customer Service:

Summary:
The borea is by far the best ski pack I have ever used. The suspension is plush - it's easy to forget you got 40 or 50 pounds on your back with this beauty. Talk about tough I used it over 130 days last year toting around boots, skis, avi gear, lunch and whatever else if it can survive a year in the life of a liftee... it's tough. maybe the only downfall of this pack is it's pretty heavy but hey if you ask me it's worth it. other notable points great foamy shorty for sitting on, feels like its glued to your back when you move, super easy ski attachment system.
