Mountaineer
, from Clarkston Wa. USA Summary: I have a real problem with rubbing a warm spot on my heal when I am hiking. The Merrell M2 boots work very well for me. The cushioning is thicker in the heal that most boots I've tried and I've tried everything--socks and boots. I do alot of hiking in AZ. and they are great for warmer weather hikes with the ventilation on the sides. They are also very easy to break in. I can usually buy mine and go on a 15 mile hike the next day.

Day Hiker
, from Brooklyn, NY Summary: I paid $99 on sale at Campmor. The boot was very comfy from the start, although the upper part digs into my shin a little bit. The Vibram sole is the absolute best for stickiness on angled rock. Customer Service: Similar Products Used: None
