Used these snowshoes for the 5K snowshoe run in the Steamboat Pentathalon and they were great. The course was groomed with some steep hills but the traction was excellent - both uphill and down. Having little ss run experience, I found that I could use a normal running stride and never slammed the shoes together. I think they retail for $260 but Crescent Moon is selling off their demos fo $130 in April. Similar Products Used:
