Summary:
These are excellent for all-around use. I've used them in both Idaho and Utah, in many different snow conditions and with a variety of weight loads and they have always come through for me. I have abused the hell out of these snow shoes and they still look fairly new! I've even jumped 25 foot cliffs in them into fluffy Utah powder (time and time again, it's fun!) and they are still fine. I work in an outdoor shop and have my choice of lots of different shoes and these are the ones I use on a regular basis. The only thing is that if your going to be doing much climbing in extreamly steep mountains I might go with something that has beefier claws on the bottom.

Customer Service:
I''ve never had to used it.

Price Paid:  $130.00 at sporting goods store

Summary:
I used traditional ash shoes for wintering camping, hunting, andhikingfor thirty years before buying the sherppas. I only had to walk a hundred feet before realising that I was all done with my traditional shoes. The aluminum is so much lighter and the bindings aaaare extremely easy to exit and enter.I have only had one occasion where I needed my old 10x56 alaskans because the snow was waist deep and the sherpas were not big enough to supportt me.Beyond that I have found them to be great, with the hinged bindings and cleat doing an excellent jobonm steep slopes that were almost impossible in previous shoes.I sometimes miss my ash shoes beauty but not the weight

Price Paid:  $125.00 at BSR Sports

Summary:
This is my first pair of snowshoes, and I love them. Dearly. I've never had any problems with them and the bindings are fairly simple. Traction is good, and helped by the all around lacing. The adjustable pivoting binding actually does work, and I've been able to go wherever I want with these! Highly recommended.

Customer Service:
Haven't had to use customer service yet.
