A great all around pack. Mine has held up well. It is great having the extra room for the times you get to carry the extra gear that your family can't handle half way through a trip. One can get involved in the internal/external frame debate ... buy either and hit the trail!

I got this pack on sale for $129 at REI. I have only had a chance to use it for a couple of weekend trips so far. The pack is comfortable to use (I usually carry about 30-40 pounds of gear). I really like all of the lash points on the exterior to lash my sleeping gear on the outside. The strap system is comfortable with cushy pads and alot of adjustability. I also like the organization that all of the pockets offer. This is an excellent pack for the money.

I really like this backpack. I am an eagle scout and have used it on many trips, including a week long trip in wyoming. I even use it sometimes when I am just camping. It is really comfortable and has many different ways to store things. It also stays off your back really well, so that you don't get hot like with internal frame packs. I would suggest it to anyone who loves to go out and dissapear for a few days.
