A solid headlamp, I have used it for nighttime rock climbing for the last few weeks. I like the swivel (a feature that the Petzl Tikka does not have) It allows you to look up the rock without cranking you head. The light seems to be as bright as the Tikka even though it has 4 LED''s and the Tikka has 3. For cold weather performance (-20F) place your fleece/wool cap over the Moonlight, covering the battery pack on the back of your head. I can highly recommend this product, it can''t be missed!

Very nice light! Lightweight, 4 super-bright LEDs, non-bulky and pivot feature is very handy (petzel tikka does not pivot). If one bulb breaks or burns out (not likely), you have 3 others to light your path. Went for a week long canoe trip into Canada with this and a mini-MagLite, never used the mini Mag. Have used it for camping, climbing, biking, fishing and hunting without complaint.

i think this is a lousy piece of equipment. its very cumbersome and the light output is basically equal to the petzel tikka, which is much lighter and more streamlined

Great headlamp, very lightweight. Tilt feature very nice. Batteries easy to change. Light output adequate for camp chores and easy trail finding. Used this headlamp for 2 weeks on AT in summer and loved it. Prefer Petzl Duo for night hiking/skiing/winter use.

buy this instean of the tikka i own both, the light output is the same, this is strange becuase it has one more led and one more battery. it has a more focused beam, but it pivots, all most a toss up, but i have been using the bd more.
