These boots are amazing!!! They are light weight, durable, quick drying, great grip, great for scrambling, and amazing on uneven terrian. The only thing that I found is that they are very wide, and don't have alot of heal support. But this can't take away from the fact that they are amazing boots.

I bought these boots for me because they fit and I have very wide feet-it's a good thing that I don't need thick socks because my feet are very wide as well as long. They are comfortable and give me cushioning as well as support, I am a pretty active big woman and appreciate the comfort. Well when I decided to get my son hiking boots I choose these for him as well.

These shoes are great. I was a little apprehensive about them initially, because they fit differently then similar shoes I've worn. The toebox is small, which took getting used to, but now I appreciate--you get really good touch during scrambling, etc. The support for a low boot is great, and pronators will appreciate it especially, although I wouldn't recommend wearing them with a heavier pack then a daypack. Finally, the traction is outstanding, even on wet surfaces.

Conforatable from the time I put them on. Required very little break in time.
Lightweight and comfortable for a narrow foot.

Salomons. I took them last year for trekking in Himalayas. Ideal boots for lower altitudes with no snow ( obviously ). Very light and comfortable on feet, an exelent grip even when wet. Perfect for dry and warm condition. If you after comfort out there,
go for these boots. You will do yourself a great favour.

I have been wearing these approach shoes constantly for over a year now. On terrain varying from asphalt to gravel, from grass to mud, from wet granite to flaky lime and sandstone, the Exit II Low is an ideal all-around boot. I have even worn them on extended day-hikes while carrying heavy loads without complaint. Go get yourself a pair without delay! Note: Great for wide footed folks.

Having a pair of Salomon hiking boots already, it was a no brainer to buy these approach shoes. They have an excellent sole (contagrip) which really resists wear and provides excellent traction. The fit is comfortable for my wide feet. They work well on my bike and on the trail. Mine cost $79 Canadian on Sale.

Got these boots a couple of weeks ago. So far so good. Only done a couple of small hikes with them but I will be testing them out on a 7 day hike this august. I'll repost after that with an update on how they are holding up.
Got them for 80 canadain clams so that was a bonus.

this shoe kicked! (I say kicked because I wore them out a year ago by no fault of the design just near daily use in extreme conditions) I have scrambled up rocky peaks dredged through muskeg and mountain biked 200 miles in these great approach shoes. I have climbed over 20,000 near vertical feet in the mountains of the chugach range with these on my feet. the only reason they wore out was that I used them almost everyday.(nothing can last that long with that kind of use) overall these are some of the best boot/shoes i have purchesed.

I only have one complaint, with a pack over 20 lbs. the shoes hurt your feet, but that's ok i never wear these backpacking and no one should they aren't designed for it.

if you are a scrambler and light mountaineer these boots are the perfect choice.

Overall, this boot really fit me well. I wear orthodics, which can often be a problem getting them to fit in any shoe. I took out the cushoin in the boot and inserted my orthodics.

Also, I use the Raid Runners for things like Ultimate etc.
