Very good stove! I have only used once but was very nice. My co-hiker had the whisperlite 600 and while it was much more quite his hands were black after every use. The dragonfly may be loud, but it is great for simmering and use on fuel.

Great stove. Had it for about a year now and very easy to use. Had trouble getting it to prime at first but it justs takes some getting used to. Other than that no problems at all. Boils water fairly quickly. love it!

It is loud, but that is a small price to pay for its range of heat. I'm coming off a Whisperlite, and I love to turn it down without it going out.

Over the years I've used 'em all, {remember Svea's?}.
This a great stove, a no brainer.
I can tell you what NOT to buy. Coleman Peak 1 multi fuel.BAD STOVE.

As far as the Dragonfly goes, the only stoves easier to operate would be the canister models, any brand. I don't like to pay 5 bucks for fuel or the hassle of not being able to buy fuel at ANY store, so I prefer not to use those. White gas is available anywhere. Speaking of canisters,PACK THEM OUT.This also means pack out your gum and candy wrappers, assorted trash and your dog poop. Some eco-friendly greenies evidently don't understand the term litterbug. Save the Earth? That starts with YOU! Walk the talk treehuggers. Oh, by the way, I used electricity writing this review. If you're reading this, you did too.

Great Stove, Simers, Boils, Frys, Insinerates. I am really amazed with the fuel economy, Its worth paying the extra for this stove rather than fafing around with gas / primus stoves If you use it alot. I've had this stove for well over a year and its very reliable, easy to prime without making a fireball and quick to get going.

Niggles..
Still havent found a good way to clear all fuel from the feeder line, so my sac does smell a little of petrol. Bottle pump is a little brittle, an option for a metal one would be great!

Excellent stove. Nothing new to add that other reviewers haven't already said. Good simmering ability and fuel economy. Seems to be almost price-fixed at $99, but worth it.

This stove really works. Because it is easy to adjust the flame, this is the one to use with one of the stovetop oven kits (like Outback). I must admit, it puts out a lot of heat (I accidentally burnt a whole in my windscreen, which I replaced for $5). I got mine for $85, which isn't cheep, but it is worth it.

Best stove I have ever used. Takes a little more effort to fire up than a compressed gas system, but after it's up and going there's no better stove. As mentioned 100 times before it is a bit loud, but with the adjustability of this stove and the fuel economy, stability, and high heating power this is worth every penny and then some.

An excellent stove. I've used the stove many times and, other than the whistle, it's never given me a problem or ever let me down.

Sure, it is loud but it works well.

This stove is loud, but it rocks! I have used the DragonFly for about 2 years now and have never had any trouble. It took a few trial runs to get the hang of firing it up, but now it's easy. The stove has cooked many meals above 13,000 feet. I can't really think of a negative other than the noise. If you want a quality stove that's easy to use the Dragonlfy is for you.
