Great stove, once you get the white fuel lighting stuff figured out, it makes a good WHITE NOISE machine. I love this stove, the only drawback is that you have to make sure that the hook up from the stove to the white fuel bottle is tight or you won't get a flow of fuel.
The first few months this gave me fits, now I have no problems.
Using the propane/butane mix is a bit slower, but that is the physics of the fuels.

This is a great all-around stove. Due to the expense of the gas canisters, I have used Coleman fuel exclusively thus far. At about $3-4 gallon you can't beat it. Have used the stove in temperatures ranging from 15 degrees to about 70 degrees. No problems whatosever. No line clogging when you flip the bottle over and kill the fuel supply like you're supposed to. Easy to prime, easy to light, and easy to operate. What else is there for a stove?!

I bought this stove last year and used it for a week's hunt in Wyoming, a weekend kayak trip in West Virginia, and several weeks winter hunting/camping in western Maryland. I have had absolutely no problems; however, it is quite loud and simmering can be a challenge. Overall construction seems to be very good and it's easy to light. I got a great deal on it at eBay. I haven't yet used canister gas - mabye it will simmer better with that. Overall, I would recommend this stove highly.

great stove!!!!! a bit on teh noisy side but who cares?!!!! takes a bit of getting used to for getting the simmer control, but after a few tries, it's no big deal anymore!! wonderful stove!! the best thing about it is it's fuel versatility and the metal pump!!

Great stove! It came down to a choice between the very easy flame control of the MSR Dragonfly and the gas-compatible Primus. The Primus was cheaper (Dragonflys are around USD160 in NZ)has a metal pump, and can cook using gas. I'd trade a little temperature-control-difficulty for these features any day.

Sure the Primus is noisy, but hey! the mountains in NZ have so few visitors that at worst you are going to offend maybe half a dozen people with the noise.

Overall, a great stove and excellent value for money.

I purchased this stove from an individual that had never use it. It is my favorite stove to date. It lights fairly easy and brings a quart of water to full boil in about 3 minutes (depending on altitude, weather, & etc.). When using white gas, there is a slight lag time
before the adjustment reaches the burner - so be careful when trying to simmer as you may shut down the burner. This stove is light, easy to operate, and works well at altitude in cold temperatures when using white gas. Canister fuels work well except at hight altitudes
& very cold temperatures. Highly recommend this stove. Very stable footprint

This is an awesome stove and that is all there is to say. It boils your water super fast (about 2.5 min depending on elevation) and it has great controls that let you determine your temperature. I bought it for the its versatility but I almost always use the cans as fuel. It would be super handy in Europe when cans aren't always available or even if in an emergency you neede to use something else. I've heard of people burning unleaded gasoline in it, which is something I wouldn't reccomend due to its volatility but you can burn just about anything and it works well. Nuff said, go out and buy it!

Great deal at auction 60.00. Would have gladly paid full retail for flame adjustment and ability to use a variety of fuel types. Had a gasket leak on the pump. Promptly sent replacement from Primus once I notified them of this problem.
