I've absolutely nothing bad to say about this tent. I've had it for 10 years and it's been in 50+ mile an hour winds, massive high country thunderstorms, and been up for 4 feet of snowfall. It's perfect for two people and their gear. and will keep you dry no matter what the gods throw at you. I will never need another 2 man tent,

Customer Service

Sierra Designs has replaced the zippers after 9 years (for free), and also replaced for free the tip off of the end of one of the poles that I somehow lost.

All I have to say is I love this tent. I bought it 5 years ago intending to use it as a versatile, large 2 man, that was small and light enough to pack for multi day trips. It has been reliable in all seasons, rain, snow, desert and alpine conditions. Easy to set up and pack, good ventilation, decent size vestibule under rain fly, easily fits three adults. Only things that could be better are standing height and price (but still well worth it in my mind).

I have been very pleased with my Sierra Designs for many reasons. The durability is uncompromised and the speed clips are so easy. I have taken this tent through many of the east coast states and in some of the most strenuous conditions possible. It is perfect for two people and gear, and even though the vestibule is small it is large enough to cook your meal when you are snowed in. A great purchase all around (especially if you can find one used).

My uncle gave me this tent about 3 years ago, after he used it for around 10-12 years. It has survived a 3-foot dump of snow, countless rainstorms, a couple of holes from errant ice axes, and 60+ mile per hour winds. I have no complaints about this tent. The dome style gives you enough room for 4 to play cards, sleep without being kicked by your tentmate, and welcome in a friend whose bivy leaked. Two people and gear is comfortable and 3 is more manageable than you would think in a two man tent. Overall, this tent cannot be beat for anything you want to do outdoors. If you are worried about the price, dont be because this tent is over 15 years old and showing no sign of slowing down.

A small vestibule but large footprint with high ceiling. This tent can fit three adults but I prefer two with gear. The white fabric lends some light during the day. The swift clips are fantastic and make setting up a one-person job. A great four season tent that is the only one I use.

Super stable for a relatively lightweight tent. Nice colors for when you're trapped inside. Good useable space. Takes a bit to get the hang of set-up. Fly sags on mine just a bit.
