My first and only climbing harness has worked well in the gym, on granite, and on glaciers. Removable leg straps allow for quick relievement of self. No rips or tears yet. Water resistant material is helpful for wet weather glacier climbs and prevents significant weight gain. Good product for the price.

This fits my need for a lightweight, low-bulk harness for general mountaineering, esp glacier travel. The lack of padding is actually a plus when wearing insulation already. It is easy to put on with bulky clothes and very adjustable.

Great light weight harness for mountaineering. Used this harnness for 4 years now and it is the only one I own. I've used it for mountaineering, ice climbing and rock climbing. For ice climbing and rock climbing I would suggest that you buy a different harness, one with padding and gear loops. But if mountaineering is your thing, this is the harness to buy.

This harness works great for three purposes: beginners doing mostly top roping, someone looking for a harness to loan to friends they take along, in an educational setting. The setup makes it is extremely easy to teach people to put it on properly, and it's cheap!

I have owned an alpine bod for many years, in fact it was what I learned in. It is a great harness. Easy to put on over ice boots. And for no padding it still feels very comfortable. Great buy.

This was a great starter harness that was light and very affordable; i paid approx. $30 for mine. It's fully adjustable and after having mine for some time, i came to realize how i climbed and what i wanted out of a harness. Not the most comfortable thing to hang in but was very good for top-roping. As far as lead climbing goes, there are definitely more comfortable things to fall in. But overall, a great harness for the beginner.

Good basic, no-frills harness for beginners or experienced climbers looking for a lightweight no bullsh*t harness to slip over mountaineering pants. The worst part about the harness is that it has no gear loops, a problem quickly solved with a few inches of 3mm perlon. Great for ski mountaineering cuz it's quick to put on over bulky pants for a quick rappel. The best part about the harness is adjustability and weight. For it's intended use, it can't be beat.

I purchased mine for ski mountaineering. It is light and takes up little space in the pack. The leg loops can be ""unbuckled"" so it is easy to put on over boots and pants. A simple no frills harness perfect for it's intended purpose!

none, but I hear Black Diamond is among the best
