Pretty good all-around harness. Simple and comfortable. May not be the best thing for big-wall, but not much big wall climbing where I live. Don't think that the "safer" buckling device really does that much.

Petzl was really nice about exchanging a harness my wife had won at a climbing competition. They allowed us to return the one she had won for another size. Pretty good stuff.

i got the jump about 7 months ago. i love the feel of it, definately one of the most comfortable. the guy at rei said it only fits about 2 percent of climbers, so i guess i was lucky. so as it goes with all harnesses, try before you buy.

Very comfortable user-friendly harness, which inspires confidence. Quality manufacture which seems to stand the test of time and some hard use. Lack of adjustable leg loops means fat legs are not an option but apart from that can't fault it.

Pretty good harness, it was my first and I abused it for way too long, but admittedly it held up very well. The jump is infamous for fitting few people(skinny legs help). The excessive bulk in the front and sides can be annoying sometimes. Not to mention the velcro which doesnt belong on a harness waistbelt (do they still do that?). Personally, I love the gear loops petzl uses, I just wish I could put those on my Metol. 3D wide... Overall, I think its a bit expensive for what you get relative to the selection available today.

If the shoe fits...wear it! This is a great harness for sport...as long as it fits. I could never get comfortable in the harness. I always found the padding a bit to wide on my body and it ended up hindering my movement. So basically, if you don't need to layer under it, and it fits, get it. If not, steer clear!!

I have had it for a year and a half now. I like the velcro on the belt and the fact you can't take the belt all the way off. Makes it very easy to put on and get off. Feels bulky when climbing, but at least i know it won't rip apart. Gear loops are good. The plastic holds it rigid so if you need to clip back on your belt quick, it's not a problem I'd recommend the harness for all around climbing. Kind of pricy, but that's cause i'm cheap

I have owned a Jump harness for about two years now. When I was looking, it was the only one I found with a long enough rise and leg loops that were on the smaller side. I've done some long belays and been totally comfy all day long. The pre-doubled back waist buckle is nice because all you have to do is put on the harness, pull the webbing and your ready to tie in. I only have a few complaints. There isn't a haul loop in back. The asymetric gear loops can be annoying to get used to, and the low mounting of the gear loops causes me to catch my shirt when clipping or unclipping biners. Other than that, the fit is great and its holding up well.

This is a truly great harness. I have used a Jump for 6 years well actualy two jumps the old one and the new type. I have used other harnesses but nothing compares to the jump for shear comfort. The gear loops are excelent. the buckle system is great. I can wear it all day without a problem. i am large for a climber 95kg and the Jump suports this weight with comfort. A great harness.
