Sick, sick, sick!!! By far the best shoe on the market for sport climbing. I've had mine for a month now and my climbing has increased two grades since then. Face climbing, bouldering, gyms, you name it these shoes excell. And they fit like gloves with the center point over the big toe making even the tinest pockets accessable. If you can find them in a store near you pick them up...you won't regret it.

I have been climbing for three years with these shoes now, climbing both short sport-climbing routes (indoor and outdoor) and long routes in the alps. The shoe is very well done, I had a look at the factory in Tesero (here in Italy) and a great part of the work is still hand-made with superior craftmanship. I've test the shoe on different kinds of rock, and found it climbs very well everywhere. You can find more specialized climbing shoes but the miura is a very jack-of-all-trades. Also: is very resistant to abuse... this is the ultimate work-horse of climbing shoes!

Customer Service

I've been to the factory and found very gentle people.

I bought my Sportivas about 2 years ago now and they are the best rock boots I have ever bought. I’m not a serious climber, more a mountaineer but I bought them so that I could do the occassional climb with my friend who is a serious climber and so that I could go to the climbing wall and keep up my fitness levels. The boots themselves are very comfortable with no rubbing. They are really sticky as well and hold on almost any crack that you care to jam your feet into. They are very precise and accurate. When I bought them it was a choice of the Sportivas and a pair 5-10's. The 5-10's were a little more expensive and a lot more uncomfortable, so it was an easy choice to make! I paid £65(pounds sterling) for them and think it was excellent value for money.

These are my first pair of climbing shoes. I didnt really know much about climbing , so I asked my next door neighbors who are my best-friends and climbing gurus. They recomended the Miuras. I had tried other shoes on the previous summer which I didnt like at all because they were stiff and didnt do the performance which I was expecting. The MIuras were more than I hoped for. I have been climbing at mainly at gyms since I am at a boarding school in maine and am far from any climbing ares. Even though most of the holds are painted over and sanded down the shoes stick to that shi*. I love em I highly recomend them to any climber.

These are my first climbing shoes, besides the crappy rental ones, and they are great. I read all the reviews on this site before I bought it, and found that it was probably the best one out there.
This thing is great for overhangs, and is awsome for edging. If you see a pocket, even if it is a small one, you can just stick the downturned toe in it and not have to worry about it tearing off. The edging of these shoes is reliable, and very painless.
The rubber on the Miura's is great for smearing, and they have held up extremely well so far.

The Miura has to be the best shoe I have ever bought. I've been climbing with the 5.10 spire(POS) and the Lasportiva Mirage another great shoe but i would recommend the miura over the mirage you can smear, edge, and stand on the tiniest of cracks and nubs.
They have improved my climbing 110%. A very comfortable shoe too! I would get atleast a size and a half lower than your sneaker size. The XVS rubber is great!

Customer Service

The customer service is excellent very nice and friendly people.

An absolutely fantastic shoe, excellent value for money (mind you, I got mine for £12, that is $17.30!), and they perform brilliantly. Mine are sized very small (about 3.5 and I'm an 8!) so are really painful if climbing trad - although they do the biz even up to E8 7b/c so are better for sport but not so good on really severe overhanging stuff, use a set of Boreal Stingers for that! When getting them go as small as you can go and you will find that they can stick to almost anything you can get your toes on!

In case you haven't noticed, miura's are just about the best sport rock shoe you can own. They're not for climbing on really steep stuff, but for your average face climb or slight o' theyre the best.

these shoes are great--a little on the expensive side but well worth it, particularly strong towards the toe, great for little nooks. had them for a couple of months and i don't think these are falling apart in a hurry. if you've got the cash get them---they're about as close as you'll get to feeling like spiderman on a rock face

This is an exellent shoe for alround
climbing. They can edge and smear on almost everything. I have redpointed a 5.12d route with them.

But if you want to climb hard routes
you have to by them at least 2 sises smaller than normal hiking boots.
