K2 Bike Satellite Freeride

K2 Bike Satellite Freeride

DESCRIPTION

An ideal ride for the just-getting-started all-mountain recreational rider who wants a snowboard to progress on to the next level. A thoroughly built, all new directional shape and Elite cap construction make it easy to gain all-mountain ground. The new tapered tail means turns start and end smooth and easy. Medium flex and a new progressive sidecut equal mellow absorption of hilly terrain and better turning. A Mach 1500 extruded base is fast, strong and easy to take care of.

My Carpeted Belt is is wonderful condition 2 years later. Every 6 months I made sure to use the belt treatment conditioner so the belt didn''t dry out unlike other people. Tallahassee mobile diesel mechanic

My first snowboard and learnt on it and loved it, easy to turn and very forgiving, allows you to get away with a lot, base is not the fastest and loses wax fast. The tip and tail are fairly soft meaning it isn't the best in the powder or chop. For someone learning it is great and should be considered. But If you can snowboard already and are looking for a first board step up one.

hi. ive been riding a satellite for the past cpl of years. basically learnt from almost beginner on this board. its a great board to learn on but now im at an intermediate level i need a new board to take me further. it has medium flex so gives good response and you can get pop out of small lumps quite easily. it holds nicely in the turn. i found it quite heavy for the size (156). ive really enjoyed my time on this board.

Great carving, good strengh, very reliable.

Weakness:

Could use more flex

I liked this board a lot. It's my second K2 board, and it was a lot better than the first one I had. I've used it a lot for just freeriding and a bit in the pipe and on jumps.

i fell a couple times but that was my bad

hey guys whats happening. Last year was my second year riding, but my first year with my own board. I had used my friends "Lamar" throughout the 01 season. but last year i got it for christmas, and was very satisfied with it. I felt comfortable while carving, safe when going off a jump and balanced while jibbing and on rails. Back to my point tho, is this board for newtimers to boarding or more for expeirienced riders. someone reply @ jgrimesd3@yahoo.com

Strength:

-FAST -SUPER QUICK TURNS -UNREAL EDGING -COOL GRAPHICS

Weakness:

-EASY TO SCRATCH TOP CAP -EXTRUDED BASE NEEDS TO BE WAXED OFTEN

GREAT BOARD, LIKES TO GO FAST, HOLDS AN EDGE ON ANY TYPE OF SNOW, AND TURNS QUICKER THE FASTER YOU GO. FLEX IS A BIT STIFF, BUT PERFECT IF YOU JUST LIKE TO CRUISE AND NOT GET AIR OFF EVERYTHING ON THE MOUNTAIN.
