This is a great, lightweight stove. I have tried many stoves from the XGK to canister type stoves and this is one of the best. I have used mine for the past three years with all types of fuel without any problem. It is easy to cook on and only takes a few minutes to boil water. Fabulous stove - light weight, runs on virtually anything, starts first time every time, hot hot hot! What more can you say? I've even managed to simmer with this stove... I'll take a star off because of the plastic pump - whilst it hasn't broken yet, the stove is useless without it and it is plastic - not a good combination. Similar Products Used: N/A |

I just purchased the MSR a couple of weeks ago but have used it a bunch of times. Initially I almost cought my garage on fire because I didn't read the directions. After reading them things went a lot smoother. Luve the comactability of the stove. I also love the fact that it boils water a lot quicker than my old stove.(when you want coffee you want it as fast as possible). I am looking forward to som extensive backpacking with the MSR Similar Products Used: colman peak 1 duel fuel |

an excellent, dependable stove. when combined w/ a titanium cookset, is super light for expedition use. to simmer, turn down amount of fuel (okay a little tricky, but patience is a virtue and there's usually too much time at base camp) you ninnies. Similar Products Used: peak one |

Great stove for the price. I was able to get it for $42... a rarity (at dsports.com) and have found it to perform quite well. I don't think much more can be said than what has already been mentioned here. Customer Service I have been impressed with MSR's customer service- they have an 800# imprinted in the metal of the parts of the stove which you can call for a new manual or parts if you buy it used. I ordered a second manual from them, and received it from them in days. |

Excellent value for the money. Light, easy to maintain, easy to replace parts. My only complaint is the lack of stability (I miss the old Primus model, the one that came in its own square tin box) |

Have used this stove for over 5 years .A good product but I find I have to disasemble it quite often to clean it or effecientcy falls off drasticly. For this reason and weight I now use a simple home made alcohol stove on all trips over 5 days but this stove for anything less than that. |

Without a doubt the industry standard. If you really want to have a hot meal in the worst winter storm on the side of a mountain, you really should have this stove with you. Customer Service With good care, it should take good care of you. |
