Summary:
Like other reports here, my Salomon snowshoes broke in the tail, and although they know of the problem, Salomon is not changing the design, and they are not helping me. Salomon is now my last choice in manufacturer - and my friends are moving away from Salomon too because of my experience.

I wasted not only the money on the showsoes, but on the special boot that clips in.

Customer Service:
Salomon customer service is nearly non-existent. Just try to find it on the web.

Like the bindings. Very convenient, but the plastic body did not stand up or last any length of time for the price paid.
cracked in several places, even though the terain covered was fairly mild to moderate. Inquiry as to refund or warrenty very negative. Would not buy solomon again.

Summary:
Had them now for over 6 yrs. Use them every winter in harsh conditions (packed snow, powder, ice and rocky slopes). Had "white" stress points since the first use and continues to hold. Keeping fingers crossed.

Solomon should be ashamed of themselves! I have the snsxadventure snowshoe the same one which is in the photo( lower ski photo) and there is a manufacture defect!! the plastic at the back of the snowshoe snapped and the other shoe is white- showing weakness- they are only used occasionally for pleasure- sojourn's store in barrie ontario -sent them to solomon and they gave me no refund or credit toward another snowshoe- I would never buy another solomon product as long as i live- I have wasted my 200.00 -trusting the solomon name- and i am left with a pair of broken snowshoes!!
